Having an altar in your home is a solution used by many powerful people around the globe.
But how to do it ?
Well, as you can see on the main picture, there is some basis that are necessary :
1_A quiet place
If you can have a room for it : it’s great.
If not, put it on a place where you think the altar will be great.
You can use a table for it. Or a furniture who have a flat surface.
2_Candle
Someone of my family burnt a house by letting a flat candle burning…
I had a problem too with a flat candle, it burned a part of a worktop… And that caused me some problems with the owner of the home…
So yeah, be very careful with them.
Apart from the obvious safety problem, another matter can be the colour of it ?
It is obvious that it will be way more easy to find some white ones. So yeah, you can go ahead for them.
I prefer to use some red ones because I know where to find some here. The red is not a bad colour. It can be seen as the colour of the Christ. The Chinese like the red (and the jade green).
What shape for the candle ? I prefer the shape of the obelisk. Also, the obelisk is more a manly symbol. Can be useful.
3_Sacred water
I put my candle lit on the right… And on the left a bowl of water.
Because in theory the female symbols goes on the left on a traditional painting, and the male symbols goes on the right.
As many people consider the water to be more a feminine symbol, I put the bowl of water on the left.
Also, I have stick on the bowl some drawings representing some blue eyes. This kind of bowl can be called an “occhiale” (yeah, I know it is not logical in Italian). Few people know about it this kind of bowl. Freud knew it and offered one to a friend. As you can guess, the blue eyes are a powerful symbol against evil (some Angels are represented only this way, and some ships used to have one painted on each of their sides). I only find this one who looks (a very little bit) like mine :

4_Statues
I believe that objects have a soul. They are powerful and they will survive long after your death. So yeah, statues are some kind of powerful artefacts.
Take your time to select them, buy them and care about them.
They will be a part of your family like people care about their Warhammers statues.
5_Pictures
Photography or pictures (even drawings) of people you like can be useful. You can put them on your altar. Or you can put them on another one. By the way, you can have all the altars you want, but put a bit of order on them. That will be way more easy to clean them !
6_Mirror
Mirrors are powerful. But can be dangerous. Select your mirror wisely. With the help of a pendulum for example. And clean it often. The invisible see through the mirrors.
It is not an obligation to have a mirror on your altar. But near by, that can help. Same for useful tools like a crystal ball, a little bell, a fan, a feather of a peacock, a palm branch etc… who are useful against the evil.
7_Respect your altar
Talk to it like a friend. You should be wise to fear it.
Remember to always respect it.
