Behind » CrestWizard » we find a French man who lives in Saint-Malo [France]. He is passionate about making crests and coats of arms since 2014. In his life, his passions are the medieval music and the electronic music, books about heroic fantasy, the Gothic culture (especially the vampires), weapons and esoterism.

CrestWizard : Red and black.
OJL : Who are the animal(s) that you like ?
CrestWizard : Well… Difficult question… I like so many of them… I would say that the Dobermann have a special place in my heart.
OJL : What number(s) do you like ?
CrestWizard : The 1.
OJL : Lastly, which super-hero(s) or even super-villain(s), do you admire ?
CrestWizard : For the heros : Ghost rider, Batman, Venom, Spawn and The Shadow. For the villains : Bane and Kingpin.
OJL : Let’s talk a bit about you now. What can you tell us about yourself ?
CrestWizard : I am a simple Breton who likes history and symbols.
OJL : Who are the professionals who made you ? Those who struck you ? In a few names and in a few words.
CrestWizard : Well, I would say every talented people who have tried the special art of heraldry. If they succeeded to make their creations Rock ‘n’ roll, they have all my respect.
OJL : How did you choose your pseudonym ?
CrestWizard : It looks like pretentious to call myself a wizard. I just like esoterism. The real wizards are the Divine. But I wanted to say “ I do crests “ and I try to put a bit of magic on what I do…
OJL : Let’s talk now about your works. What do you do ?
CrestWizard : Crests, coats of arms, logos and everything linked to heraldry.
OJL : How could you describe your style ?
CrestWizard : Medieval and rock ‘n’ roll.
OJL : Which techniques do you use ?
CrestWizard : For the most, the computer for now. I used to do some drawings and then some watercolour paintings when I was doing some some street markets. But not anymore.
OJL : Is it possible to ask you for a custom product ?
CrestWizard : Absolutely. This is essential in this kind of art.
OJL : Is it possible to suscribe to your newsletter ? Because the social networks are a bit… saturated.
CrestWizard : Not yet my dear.
OJL : Do you have an anecdote about one of your products ? Or about one of your sales ?
CrestWizard : Well, every stories I have are linked to the same conclusion : I was way to pretentious when I started this business. Pretending that I was a big expert in this area. The more the time goes, the more humble I become. So
