You can like firearms and don’t like to kill.
Being an olympic shooter does not makes you a killer for example.
Same for the practice of the skeet shooting (or ball-trap). It is very funny and armless.
But yes indeed, let’s be honest, this world is very far from the paradise. And as the Christ said in Luke 22 : 36 we have to protect ourselves.
