Visit the “Crazy Horse” for the European Heritage Days

Website of « Le Crazy Horse Paris » : here

As part of its participation in the 2023 European Heritage Days, Crazy Horse invites the general public to discover its astonishing and rich artistic and cultural heritage, as well as its anecdotes and little secrets which animate the famous house.

Through an exclusive tour commented by two dancers, visitors will have the opportunity to access both the room and the usually inaccessible backstage areas, thus revealing the well-kept underbelly of the Parisian cabaret.

The public will learn, for example, that when it was created in 1951, Crazy Horse was inspired by American saloons: people were greeted there by young men in cowboy outfits, ate spaghetti, drank beer, and danced. square dance… at that time the stage was tiny and there were no dancers or projections but a certain Raymond Devos presented some humorous sketches there and a certain Charles Aznavour took his first steps there.

It was only from the 1960s that the show evolved and developed its current artistic signature: a female and multi-ethnic troupe presents mischievous and ingenious numbers, and shares the stage with internationally renowned variety artists, who punctuate the show and punctuate the evening.

In order for the public to benefit from this unique experience, the Crazy Horse will open its doors on Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17, 2023, for 30-minute visits (by registration only) accompanied and hosted by the Master of Ceremonies George Bangable, and a pair of dancers: Bamby Splish-Splash and Vénus Océane (Saturday September 16) and Bamby Splish-Splash and Prima Analytic (Sunday September 17).

To participate in these visits, prior registration via the address jep@lecrazyhorseparis.com is required. Registrations will open on September 1. Emails sent before will not be taken into account. The route will be adapted for people with disabilities.
